Ultimate Race to Richmond
From August 16th through September 3rd, Midday host Karen West will ask listeners to email her their favorite Sprint Cup Driver along with their favorite song and contact information. At 12 noon each day Karen will randomly select an email and call the listener, if the selected listener answers he or she will choose the driver they think is going to win the Labor Day Classic 500 Sunday, Sept 5th , at Atlanta Motor Speedway. As drivers are chosen each will be eliminated from the list of NASCAR drivers available. Each listener contacted by Karen to play the "Ultimate Race to Richmond" game wins a pair of tickets to the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Sept 10th at RIR. Each day an updated list of available drivers will be posted on the Eagle website for potential winners to choose from as well as a list each daily winner and the driver they have chosen. At the end of the promotion there will be a total of 15 different drivers competing in "97.3 The Eagle Ultimate Race to Richmond". Karen West will then choose a driver from the remaining eligible drivers to win the Labor Day Classic 500. Once the official results are posted on Monday, Sept 6th, the top 10 listeners (game participants) will win a pair of tickets to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series on Sept 11th at RIR. The listener whos driver wins or finishes the best will win the Ultimate NASCAR Experience which includes: Pit Passes and a once in a lifetime Pace Car Ride. If the driver that Karen West selected wins or places the best then the winner of the Ultimate NASCAR Experience will be randomly chosen from the 10 finalists.
