The Country Winterblast Challenge 2012/13, Tidewater premier country music talent search is underway with 97.3 The Eagle! If you have talent you could win the chance to perform as the opening act on next year’s Country Winterblast Stage.

Enter your act before 5:00PM on Friday, December 7, 2012. The top acts will move on to our semi-final rounds (December 13^th, January 3^rd, and 10^th) at the Eagles’ Nest Rockin’ Country Music Bar located at 1723 Parkview Drive, Chesapeake, Virginia. The winning act from each night will then compete at 97.3 The Eagle Country Winterblast on January 26^th 2013 at Hampton Coliseum. The grand prize winner that day will be awarded and will have the chance to perform at other 97.3 The Eagle Events throughout the 2013 year.

If you think you’ve got the talent and what it takes to make it in country music we want to hear from you! Record your best song featuring your vocals and get it to us before the deadline on November 27^th, 2012. The competition is open to soloists, duos, bands, etc. Send us a cover or an original to listen to.

Ways to enter:

(2) Send an email to jbowles@maxmediava.com and include your name, your bands name, your email, phone number and song (.MP3 file. (3) Mail your CD (include your name and contact info) to Max Media, Attn: Jim Bowles, 5580 Greenwich Road, Suite 200, Virginia Beach, VA, 23462. (4) Hand deliver your entry to the 97.3 The Eagle studios during regular business hours. Be sure to include your name, email and phone number.

If your entry is selected as one of the top acts you will be contacted by phone and/or email by December 1^st, 2012. After notification you will be required to fill out the Country Winterblast 2013 Challenge Contest Sheet. CDs, MP3s, etc. become property of 97.3 The Eagle and will not be returned.
