The ACM Award nominees were announced this morning! Here they are...
So no Brad Paisley?! Or Kenny Chesney?! Definitely surprised to not see their names listed...but at the same time you can't deny the sucess of everyone else listed.
It's also interesting to see husband and wife Blake and Miranda up against each other in Entertainer of the Year and soon to be husband and wife Jana Kramer and Brantley Gilbert up against each oher in Best New Artist. It's gonna be quite the show! Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton co-host April 7th live from Las Vegas.
Brad Paisley gave us a sneak peak today of "Wheelhouse," his new CD hitting stores April 9th.

This may be the coolest album cover ever from Brad! In fact, it gets even cooler...on www.bradpaisley.com you can unlock hidden images in the CD cover that will give you access to interviews, contests and more!
Ok so here's the song list: (side note this is always SUCH a tease! Once I hear the song titles I'm dying to know what the songs are about!)

So there's a duet with LL Cool J?! Ok see what I mean about this being a tease? Now I'm really dying to know what THAT is going to sound like. Plus, Hunter Hayes plays guitar- that's high praise from a guitar player like Brad Paisley. Counting down the days til April 9th.
Whew, what a morning for Blake Shelton! He had to get up early after The Grammy's last night to be on the Today Show...wonder how hungover he was?!
Since he was talking with Kathy Lee and Hoda I'm guessing these ladies offered him a little hair of the dog :)
Blake talked about his new CD and the new coaches coming to the Voice.

The Grammy Awards are Sunday night! This combines SO many of my favorite things- celebs, fashion, award shows and, of course, music! It's like my Super Bowl!
Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Keith Urban are going to be presenters. Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood will both be singing AND Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert are going to perform together!

And of course, awards will be handed out...here are the nominees
BEST COUNTRY ALBUM
The Time Jumpers, Zac Brown Band, Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert and Jamey Johnson

I have such a girl crush on Miranda Lambert so I'm going with her on this one.
BEST COUNTRY SOLO PERFORMANCE

SO many good choices! I'm going to have to route for Blake or Dierks on this one.
BEST DUO OR GROUP PERFORMANCE:
The Time Jumpers, Taylor Swift and the Civil Wars, The Eli Young Band, Little Big Town and Don Williams with Alison Krauss

As much as I'd love to see the Eli Young Band win, Little Big Town had a great year so I'm going with them.
BEST COUNTRY SONG:

Another impossible choice! I'd be happy seeing any of these win but "Springsteen" is my guess.
And we can't forget Hunter Hayes is representing country music in the BEST NEW ARTIST category! Go Hunter! Everyone is predicting Frank Ocean will win but I'm holding out for Hunter Hayes.
