2nd Annual Touch a Truck

May 18, 2013 9:00am - 3:00pm

Saturday, May 18th--The Junior League of Hampton Roads 2nd Annual Touch a Truck at Peninsula Town Center in Hampton.  Touch a Truck offers children a hands-on opportunity to explore heavy machinery and to meet the people who build, protect and serve the Hampton Roads community. Vehicles on display could include construction trucks, emergency responders, tractor trailers, utility trucks and helicopters. The event also features area mascots, special performances, snack and merchant vendors, and entertainment for children (and adults).

The Junior League of Hampton Roads invites the community-at-large to participate in Touch a Truck for a cost of $5 per ticket, $15 per family of four before May 16th, or $20 per family of four after that.
We are bringing back our acclaimed VIP Hour this year and due to its success, expect tickets to sell quickly. Tickets are available online only through advanced sales, while supplies last, for a cost of $10 per ticket and $30 per family four pack. Tickets available at www.jlhr.org.

Touch a Truck offers sponsors an excellent opportunity to interact with parents, children, League members, and the Hampton Roads community. To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please visit the Junior League of Hampton Roads website at www.jlhr.org, contact Haley Hanlon or Maegan Branton at JLHRTouchATruck@gmail.com or call (757)873-0281 for more information.
